The month of June back in the Bay Area has been amazing and I don't want things to stop. I've met some great coworkers who have now become my second family, and been able to catch up with old friends and their children and laugh laugh laugh! In the month of June Amaya tried out tennis at a quick but worthwhile tennis camp and she really liked it. Aaliya turned 8 months old Today, June 24th, and she has definitely shown her love for the outdoors. She's incredibly chill and happy when outside. Eric and I have been falling in love with Campbell, less populated city with a lot of things nearby and a lot of things to do. But i'm just loving being back home and I am so happy with my decision to take the opportunities that I have been blessed with and not take it for granted. I've also been focusing on my health and wellness and today I took a great step by going to the Share The Health 2 with Sol Sisters (non-profit aimed at engaging with and empowering women of all backgrounds in different communities). The event was small but packed with goodies (healthy lifestyle vendors), a great DJ, multiple workout stations (including afrobeats dance = the BEST). Shanice and I definitely want to and will get involved with Sol Sisters! Shanice is my new partner in crime; super easy going and likes to try new things. She is not afraid; We're making great memories.

Earlier this month I got to spend time with my longtime friend Shera and her beautiful children! Everyone knows her and her family. They are great people and Shera is a always always always a lot of fun! I am so glad I got to spend time with her and her three beautiful children.

Just a couple of weeks ago I dragged my family and Chelsea and Caydence to attend the Amazing Race which was put on by Santa Clara Parks and Rec! Not only was it free, but it was a lot of fun. I walked away a bit annoyed because they did not let us finish our last station because we literally got there right at the last possible minute (not our fault, some of their stations were not organized efficiently); so we were unable to be in the running to place and yes I treat competitions like COMPETITIONS! But the pictures are below and reflecting I can say everyone had a great time! After that we had lunch and frozen yogurt!
